About 4 years ago, I found a couple of youtube videos from a ham in W5 who detailed installation of both VHF and HF rigs in his Model 3. He reported hearing moderate noise only when regenerative braking. Regenerative braking is a significant element of the mileage efficiency of all forms of EVs, beginning with those like the Prius, that also run on petrol.
