Soap: My apologizes to whomever I had a dupe with. When a
storm passed through, I lost power. (I abandoned the shack
but left the power on the computer.) When MMTTY came back
on line, MMTTY could find no record of the contacts before the
storm. I worked WT4I the second time on 28 or 21mhz and it
seemed I had worked him before. Checked into it and sure
enough, I had a dupe.
Second apology. I changed my name mid stream. I noted that some
folks hesitated when they tried to decipher my first 'cute' name.
Thus, as it is said, only a fool won't change their mind. I thought one
or two might like to know the reason why.
The short contest is about the right length for one my age and
temperament. But, don't abandon the longer period contests. . . . . .
