Hi all,

Well, wasn't that a different excercise? Someone obviously upset someone's
God!
First a bit of soapbox:

Was too tired to stay up, so decided to get up early and play in the last
hours of the first session. In the end, I didn't awake as early as I'd
hoped, but once I saw what conditions were like, it didn't matter. Just as
well I hadn't stayed up!
Second session saw better conditions, but still not good. Played right to
the end of that one (1am local), and set my internal alarm for 0730UTC. Got
it screwed up, and went into the shack at 0630UTC, only to find the bands
dead. Then went back to bed for a while, and overslept.

Found the contest hard work, but I made a few more Q's than last year, but
had less points (fewer area mults).
Nice to get EM1HO on 10m, and also FY5FU. Got J8PA on 15 & 20, but nowt on
10m here.
Some good sigs from the W's at times, especially W7TI/6, who was easy to
work. Nice to meet Dick KS0M for the first time as well.
There were a couple of BIG sigs that couldn't hear most of the callers: KP2D
and JA6JAP both had HUGE signals.
Other than that, I worked most of those I called, despite running at much
lower power at one point. For some reason, I was only putting out about 35
watts on 15 for last session, but it didn't seem to make any difference at
all.
Didn't bother trying to get through the pile-up for VR2BG, as he wasn't in
SARTG, and was NOT giving serial numbers.
C31PM was odd........ Huge signal but no sign of any F's or ON's, which made
me think it wasn't genuine, then saw a statement from C31PM on the cluster
saying he wasn't doing RTTY. I also worried about TT8JE, as he was being
spotted on 6m CW when I worked him on 15!
Quite a few new calls around this time. Nice to see more people joining the
fun.
15 was the best band for me in terms of mults, but here is the full
breakdown:
