Hi one and all,

Well, I hadn't realised that June 8/9 was ANARTS, but is there anything to
say it has to be on the same dates??
Couldn't we have a RTTY/Digital leg on another weekend? Or perhaps even a
24hr contest??
It may also be useful to use one of the existing RTTY contest formats too,
for the sake of those who use WF1B.

Although I was one of those in favour of doing a digital leg (and I still
am), one has to think of the practicalities!
For those of us who use WF1B, it would have to be a contest using one of the
existing contest formats, or a large number of folk simply won't take part.
I don't know how WL would cope with this format either, and whether a
contest format could be programmed in time. (I'm sure someone will tell us!)

I'm not sure ANARTS would appreciate being "taken over" by the Brits, as
that may not be "politically correct" these days! After all, ANARTS is a
well-recognised contest, and enjoyable in its' own right.

Just a few thoughts, but maybe it ain't such a good idea after all (to have
a RTTY leg)????

73 to all, and may see you for a short while on the OK test this weekend!
Phil GU0SUP
