[RTTY] You just never know...

There was some discussion about the practice of sending in logs
after RTTY contests. It was quite apparent that many RTTY ops
don't send in their logs.

I've made it habit of sending in logs for every contest I enter, regardless
of what mode, etc. It paid off in a most unusual way for me.

Today I received a very nice certificate for 1st Place Single Op, Louisiana,
CW Low Power for the 2000 CQWW 160M DX Contest. I only slightly remember
making QSO's in this event. I do not have a 160M antenna. I used my
Cushcraft tribander and tuned it with my internal antenna tuner on my TS870.
I was probably only radiating couple of watts at max.

I turned in my log and today I receive this very nice piece of wall paper to
hang on my wall. I'm very proud of it.

You just never know...
