The team is up and running again after a storm moved through the area early
Thursday (UTC). The group moved everything into a safe area until the storm
passed...This explains the lack of activity earlier Thursday (UTC).

There is no information as to when the logs will appear on the Ducie Log
URL:

http://www.big.or.jp/~ham/VP6DI/

The logs were uploaded yesterday, using a 1200 Baud Modem and Satellite
phone. Do not panic if you do not find your call/contact in the present
log. The displayed is from very early in the operation.

There was activity on 4Øm CW from about Ø833z - Ø944z 21 March.
Approximately 75 Q's were made. More 4Øm activity is promised.

No news on RTTY. The problem is the ability to free up a rig for the
activity. Hopefully this problem will be resolved.

VP6DI will also be listening for stations in the Northern latitudes. DXers
should give Scandinavia and other nations of that latitude a break because
of the very short opens they have...Especially at this time of year. PLEASE!

The Caribbean has also been discussed and the team will looking in that
direction.

Some positive news about the CW operation the other night on 2Øm...There may
have been some CW on 20 for a very short period. The logs will be checked.

The was an attempt to meet a schedule with P5/4L4FN. Unfortunately historic
event this was prevented by at least one station who insisted on calling
over Ed. It takes all kinds.

Again...The operation is scheduled to end on 27 March and the team expects
to depart Ducie on the evening (Their time) of the 27th.
