Sorry John, (WA9ALS) I believe that you are incorrect about the one
absolute this operation needs to be successful. Policemen, of course are
important. BUT, you forgot the need for a qualified leader for the
expedition. With all deference to Don, I don't believe he is qualified.
A Leader must rule with an iron fist. Eating breakfast, lunch and
dinner must be done together, all must operate modes which He deems
necessary, even if they are unqualified. Thus, a CW man must have a code
speed on no more than 5 WPM.. SSB ops much be hard of hearing. RTTY ops
much not know the difference between a mouse and a keyboard. Ops will be
required to call stations from areas that have no propagation. The
Leader must enforce these rules ruthlessly. My first choices would have
been Pol Pot or Stalin but they're dead. I'll let the multitudes suggest
suitable persons (they need not be hams).
