Hello John and the group,
Many thanks for sharing those pictures with us all.
You all look as though you had a good time, and what a treat to be able to
see what some of you guys look like!
One day, I may just surprise you all, and actually find my way to Dayton!
However, that all depends on what happens after Cable & Wireless take over
Guernsey Telecoms at the end of this month! I may be out of a job yet!
I have also just realised that my XYL's birthday is 8th June, and that is
when ANARTS starts, so I may have to miss the first 24 hours of that
contest, or I could be in a spot of bother. I will be on at some point, as I
want to try out the IC756. Got it all wired up now, and made QSO's with
R1MVI and 8P9AL last night on 20m RTTY. Conditions were quite good, and I
saw ZP5MAL, TA0/Z31MM, a ZD7, and N1NG (I think that was the call) who was
very loud, but chose to work WA2SSV instead of me.
Cheers for now, and thanks for the pics John and George
