2200 is not entirely too early for some local / regional activity to start
up on this coast. I'm also bearing in mind that Robert (G0URR) says he'll
be listening by dark over there in east Dorset. Geoclock tells me that's
sunset for him at 1952 UTC. Got to give the guy something to listen for,
after all. 8)
I'm also remembering when Stew, W1BB used to faithfully call CQ then listen
in the DX window on schedule no matter what, and we know how well he did.
And Stew did have that massive wire from the local water tower over the
coast.
Guess conscientious masochism runs pretty deep in New England, even in
summer.

Did you mean 2200? Pretty early for 160. Here on the west
coast, sunset today is 0239 and I'll be on starting around then.
