WF1B packet networking...

Well, me (LZ1ZM) and LZ1QV managed to do it
and it's not so difficult...Just a week of
reading, investigating similar topics in the
Net and mail lists...
XYL mumbling ?...:)))

The idea is using TNC's instead of null-modem
cable at the com port provided for the network.
Thus expanding network to...

Having KAM+ at both ends the procedure is:

1. Set both TNC's parameters as described
   in CT (K1EA) site:

ABAUD = 4800
PACLEN = 255
DWAIT = 0
FRACK = 1
PERSIST = 255
SLOTTIME = 1
PACTIME = 1
RETRY = 0

Using a simple DOS terminal program
(Pacterm in our case) establish packet
connection between the two TNC's followed
by "CTRL-C" to end at "cmd:" prompt.
Then enter into TRANSPARENT mode by "T"
command.
Above for both TNC's again.
Exit the packet terminal program.
Leaving it you will have TNC's connected
only and only if both of them are set to
transparent mode.

Define settings of the com port in RTTY.INI of WF1B.
This is the port where your TNC will be connected
instead of the null-modem cable.

Define the network settings:
ComPortA=
Station Number=

Save and run WF1B.

Here we are....

Now every QSO logged in each of the computers
will appear in the log of the opposite computer
and backwards.

Best 73's !
