Comments:
Great conditions!!!! Lots of activity. We worked all US states and so
many stations.
We had network problems and lost 4,5 hours. Never try to run WriteLog on
Win 98 (first station) and Win 2000 (second station). After moving to
2xWin 98 everyting was in the end OK but it costed us too much time to
solve the problem (good lesson for the future).
Equipment:
2xFT-1000MP + 2xPA
80m: vertical, dipole, beverages, K9AY loops
40m: 2el Quad, dipoles, beverages
20m: 4x4el Quad, 4el Quad, 2 el. Quad
15m: 4x4el Quad, 4el Quad, 2 el. Quad
10m: 5x5x5x5el Quad, 5el. Quad, 2 el. Quad
Yes... beautiful place. Great thanks goes to Chris SP7GIQ who let us
participate from his wonderful QTH of Quads.
Remember to prepare your logs correctly in Multi-Two. Last time our
Cabrillo had a problem and we were moved to Multi-Multi (3Z0WPX in WPX
Contest). WPX results say "Moved from original entry (M2) to MM due to
excessive band change violations" - in fact it is not true. It was a
problem of how the two stations were signed in the output Cabrillo file.
Be careful with that.
Thanks to all who made a QSO with our station. QSL for 3Z7TTY goes via
SP5ZCC -OK via the bureau (we also made some activity - mostly CW - before
and after the contest).
Regards to all - thanks for the fantastic weekend.
73 from all of us
