Equipment:
Yaesu Mark-V FT-1000MP 10/15/20 2 el Beam 40/80 simple wire indoor

Soap:

It all started when the planed contest location was not available due
to the weather conditions - so the plan-B was at least to play a bit from
home rather to not start at all !

.... and it was fun. I do NOT have a contest antenna farm at all, so
I had to stay most of the time on 10/15/20 with the 2 element beam
and only 100w. For 40/80 I have only a very low profile longwire about
15 meter long being matched by SGC.

The highlite was working DX on 15/20m at a time where the band semed to
be gone already. The Mark-V with 250Hz filters pulled some signals out
of the noise ... the rates were low at these times but it was fun what
you can do with such a simple setup.
