I feed the output from the comm port (DB( pin 3) directly to the RCA jack on the back of the Omni VI through a 10K resistor.

Ed, reverse polarity via rig menu/setting if the Omni permits that.
Otherwise, if you used a transistor switch for your interface, just swap the
transistor's base and emitter leads.
