I like this even better than the IN IN DE DE thread !!''
It's too cold outside here in MA (1 degree F) and too dark for the antenna work now so I can enjoy this discussion. Or, I can even turn on my radio and do some hamming... what a thought. See you on 14085 or so.

I have another suggestion...

...how's about an article on how easily the ops with COMPUTERS AND CONTEST LOGGING SOFTWARE blow away the competition.. Look at a couple of years worth of contest scores and compare the highest LOGGING SOFTWARE scores to the highest done with PAPER AND PENCILS scores (in high and
low power categories) to show that the best LOGGING PROGRAM scores on average 1/4th to 1/3rd higher than the best WRITTEN BY HAND scores; that LOGGING SOFTWARE provides a greater advantage than by WRITING ALL THAT DAMN STUFF BY HAND(compare PAPER AND PENCIL high power to LOGGING SOFTWARE low power scores which shows that LOGGING SOFTWARE LP wins over
HAND WRITTEN HP almost every time); and, why contest committees, led by the ARRL, continue to refuse to acknowledge the LOGGING SOFTWARE advantage, including published admissions by top LOGGING SOFTWARE ops that it is a fantastic, though somewhat complicated and costly advantage to obtain.

anyone else have any ideas?
