Folks

I know this question might be alien to most of the list who use
computers to run rtty, :-) but perhaps there's a few old-timers out
there...

How does one determine the baud rate/shift for a signal with a hardware
decoder such as a Dovetron?

I like to monitor various signal on the bands, but have yet found a
discussion on how to set the controls to tune in a signal. There's a lot
of information on computerized rtty, but some of us like to run the
older stuff. Any comments or pointers to instructions would be
appreciated.

Thanks for the bandwidth.
