Hi Bob - We used WriteLog and the laptop's built-in sound.  Having used most
of the popular programs and several hardware TNCs, I can't imagine why you
would want to use a hardware TNC in the mobile environment unless maybe you
wanted to use a DXP-38 and operate CLOVER-II?  ;-)

I didn't mention WriteLog in the article because we lost part of the log.
We're not sure what happened exactly, but I've never seen it happen before
in several years of using WriteLog, so I don't blame the software.  I use
MMTTY for RTTY mobile when not contesting.  73 - John, WA9ALS
