>this may be some sort of delayed April Fool's joke
Another Anatolian joke:
- has anybody seen the 2004 results ?
Sent my log 3times, and asked several times for ACK, but never received any
reply, so would have boycotted anyway!
No need to mention the IARU region1 160m bandplan...
1810 - 1838 CW (max BW 200hz)
1838 - 1840 Digimode except packet, CW (max BW 500Hz)
1840 - 1842 Digimode except packet, Phone, CW (max BW 2700hz)
1842 - 2000 Phone, CW (max BW 2700 Hz)
4khz allowed if you are lucky enough not to have a LSB station on 1840 (a few
EU countries have 1850 as upper limit)! Without mentionning the fact that
2700Hz bandwidth modes are allowed between 1840 and 1842 !!!
PS and everybody knows that May is the best month for 160m... nights are short
enough and thunderstorms all over EU...

Hi Don and the group,
I checked out the website, as I thought this may be some sort of delayed
April Fool's joke, but surely there must be some major mistake???
A RTTY contest over this period, and on top band only is NOT going to
attract may entrants.
It will exclude me, simply because I don't have access to any top band
antennas, and the times are not good for me.
Ah well, looks as though I will be in Volta instead!
73 for now
