Darn, I miss my AL-1200, but it will be back!
Very well satisfied with the effort, especially with the difficulty of
finding, and holding, a frequency. I had a two (2) hour run, mostly into
Europe, between 19-21Z, operating at 14.135, on Sunday afternoon. Seldom, if
ever did I have to send any repeats, which speaks well for those stations,
that I worked!
I found stations, on 20, between 14.065-14.140, and on 15, between
21.065-21.150.
Nice to find V51/DJ4SO, on 10 meters, before he was spotted.Nice to work
any/all stations effected by Hurricane's Katrina and Rita. Having never been
involved in those situations, I suspect contest aggravations pale in
comparison? Thanks to all for the contacts, and I promise the requests for
repeats will diminish, soon.
