Jim,

When I was starting with N1MM Logger and the MMTTY engine I copied the
manual onto a CD and took it to Staples (substitute your local print shop).
One of the best $30 I have spent. Now days I still have the older hard copy
manual and a the new version on the computer.

I'm starting to feel that N1MM (the software) doesn't think that I'm
really sincere.

I'm a print person. On screen manuals don't cut it for me. I tried to
print the .pdf on my 500 MHz PIII (Win98 SE) to my USB HP colour ink jet
and get a message from Acrobat 5.0 saying, "The document could not be
printed."

Well, it's a big document so I blamed the computer. I then copied it
over the network to my AMD XP3000 or whatever it is (Win98SE Acrobat
6.0) and tried printing to the same colour printer. Same error
message. Hmmm... well it still has to pass through the PIII. I know,
I'll plug the printer straight into the AMD - that should work. After
half an hour looking for the printer driver CDs I got the AMD printing
directly to the USB printer instead of over the network.

Tried printing the manual and got the same error message. Downloaded a
fresh copy of the manual and tried to print it. Same error message.

Maybe, because I want to use it for AFSK RTTY, I should be printing to
LSB instead of USB?? :-)

At this rate it looks like I may be using WriteLog in BARTG and XE
RTTY. (Just kidding - I'm sure that once I'm over the initial hurdles
things will go better.)

Any ideas as to what I should try next. I really need a manual I can
read anywhere. I'm several times faster reading and assimilating print
than I am stuff on a screen. At my age, there isn't a lot of time left
to waste.
