Hi all,
What a ball! I hadn't planned on entering this one, so didn't start till
around 0900 this morning, and would have been happy with a 100 or so
contacts. This was just a casual operation from me, and I had some good fun.
This morning seemed slow, although there were plenty of mults. 15m was poor,
with only a few signals heard, and 20m was good.
This afternoon, there was a great opening to W6/7 and VE6/7 with some
seriously strong signals from such stations. Bob VE6YR was as strong as many
EU stations!
My only problem was that when most came back to me, I would get an EU
station trying to call me, hence the need for repeats on occasions.
I had quite a few stations call me, then not come back, so maybe propagation
was playing up.
Here is what I managed:
QSOs Points DX: State
160m: 0 0 0 0
80m: 0 0 0 0
40m: 7 21 7 0
20m: 196 587 40 0
15m: 17 51 9 0
10m: 0 0 0 0
Total: 220 659 56 0
Total multipliers: 56
Score: 36904
My log will be on LoTW shortly, so thanks to all for the QSO's and the
points, and see you next weekend!
