Comments:
First thanks to all who called in and especially for those that were patient
with my many requests for repeats. My goal was to better last years results. I
thought right up to the last hour that I was not going to make it. I turned the
antenna to Europe at 2300z and started calling CQ. In that last hour, I made
only 26 Q's, 17 EU's, 8 NA and one Dupe. But 18 of those were Mult's. It blew
me away. It ended up with me bettering my Q's, point's and mult's. Again
thank's especially to the DX stations that had to repeat many times through the
QRM.
A side note is that Friday night, I was going to take a 5 hour break at 12:30am
local. Well, I saw that 3Y0X was on 80 and 160 cw. I decided to give it a shot.
I worked them on both bands, but didn't get to bed until after 2:30am, then
back up at 5. Was a tough day Saturday, but the thrill of it all just kept the
adrenalin going. See you in the next one.
