I KNOW THAT
  THERE IS ALWAYS a THIRD CHOICE.
  JUST MY 5 cents from own experience.
  I used 4 ele Cuschraft, 10 years ago, not bad antenna, but still, a 
compromise.
  SpiderBeam is No compromise, Full Size, light antenna, I am using Radio Shack 
"Telescope" and TV Rotator... Sounds like a joke but this Joke DOES the job.

Unfortunately, the Spiderbeam wasn't one of the two choices that the 
gentleman was originally asking about.
