I think the most promising way to use the Softrock as a panadptor is 
to build it up for your receiver's IF freq. I am in the process of 
doing this. Check out the demo version of PowerSDR (works with 
Softrock RX) at Flex radio site to see the kinds of displays you can 
use. Rocky is another good program for it.
