An even better clue: No more carrier.

Please guys, no "K" or "CR" at the end of a macro. They are not
necessary and in the case of the CR, can actually waste time by
forcing the mouse to chase the text up the screen. Please *DO* put a
space at the end though, to separate the last character from the
noise.

When the carrier drops, he has indeed turned it over to you, I
guarantee. :-)  Things like "K", "KN" and "BK" are leftovers from CW
where there is no carrier and one can not be positive when the other
guy has actually turned it over. RTTY does not have that problem. A
dropped carrier means it's your turn for sure.
