I think some of the poor manners we see on the bands is a reflection
on how people learn about Ham radio. More and more people get their
information and "training" via the various Internet forums, which is
okay. But I think there is less face to face Elmering where the new op
goes over to the grey beard's shack and is shown "how it's done".
