Bob, since you didn't define the "didn't wait" time, I'm curious as to what
it was? During contests, especially when it's a call I don't recognize, I
try and wait 5-7 seconds, which seems like an eternity, before
re-transmitting? For some call signs, that I do recognize, the wait is
usually longer! That's another story, for another time.
IMHO, one of the most important tools, especially for a "newbie", is a
preprint of the contents of each macro, posted in a easily visible place?
Only takes a millisecond to glance at it, before transmitting?
