Stu,

No, this sound more like RFI getting into the PTT line (or one of the other
Rascal connections) and hanging your computer.

Try transmitting into a dummy load or turn your RF power all the way down. Does
it still hang?

I got an ICOM 756 PRO and I am attaching a Rascal to it running MMTTY with
EXTFSK plug in.. I can receive fine, but having problems on the transmit
side.

I know that I have the correct port since I can see power out of my radio.
But when I transmit, I can't stop transmitting and my computer mouse freezes
up. When I physically break the transmit line, I can still receive but my
mouse is still frozen. I need to reboot to get control of my computer again.

I believe that the problem is the transmit screen setting. I would like to
know the correct settings for the transmit screen and for the radio command
section.

Thanks in advance.

Stu
