I think the Stew Perry Top Band challenge would be the best format to use for a
new 160m contest.
Of course we can try the RTTY Melee in Dec for now.

I too would like to see a 160 meter RTTY contest. I would suggest it
use an already existing contest as a format, so no new contest
software would have to be written. I like the Makrothen because
scoring is based on distance between grid squares, but another contest
might have some other advantages.
Is there a club willing to take on the sponsorship? I will volunteer
to help out in any way needed.
