Can you suggest a hotel that's not fully booked at this time? I'm
considering it this year.
BTW, the Zeppelin Museum there is worth a trip on its own, and you
take a ride in a NT (modern) Zeppelin.
And the bicycling in the area is magnificent.

Good morning all,
The Friedrichshafen Ham Radio event will take place from 27 - 29 June 2008.
This is a great weekend, and well worth going, especially if you have never
been before. Now is a good time to start thinking about attending, as rooms
get booked up by early in the new Year.
It would be really good if some of our friends from the Americas could go
next year, so please give it some thought.
The Friday evening is the usual time for the RTTY Dinner, and this is an
excellent evening, attended by many well-known RTTY ops.
The BCC Buffet is on the Saturday evening, and again, this is a very
well-attended event.
There is a FREE shuttle bus to take you to the exhibition centre from
Friedrichshafen main rail station and from the harbour station, and this
runs every 20 minutes.
Friedrichshafen is on the edge of Lake Constance, and the whole area is
absolutely beautiful. It is worth making time to take a boat trip on the
lake, and perhaps exploring some of the area.
The town of Friedrichshafen is very pleasant, and there are some nice shops
(for the XYL's!) and an amazing number of cafes, restaurants, bars, for you
to enjoy.
Hope to see you there!
