A RTTY dinner sounds great but if a number of contesters are going to show up,
you might want to have the knives removed from the tables - maybe even use
plastic cutlery - based on past history of the list.

Sounds like a good idea. What exactly do we have to do to compete for
the prizes though?

Fred, I do not disagree with you about time conflicts beteween the Dinners,
I am not sure that every one will be in Dayton and ready on Thursday night.
Lets see how it goes. Thank you.

b. Technical inventions
c. Highest Scores in RTTY Contests, Awards.
d. Best RTTY anecdote,
please name it.

This may not be a contesting question, but I don't have the MMTTY reflector
in my address book. Maybe those who use MMTTY can help me.

My call macro is < His call de KS0M KS0M KS0M >

Before and after I get a time stamp, such as <080117 15:00:00 TX>
                                             <080117 15:02:00 RX>

I have changed the macro and can't get rid of this time stamp. It must be in
the SET UP, but I can't find it.

How do I get rid of this ??

I'm not sure if you can, I have always lived with it.

I would also be interested to know if it can be removed.

This from the MMTTY Help file.
_________
Save Text Data

MMTTY can save any data that appear in the receive window, and it can add a
time and date stamp.

Time Stamp

You can put a time stamp for each line as it appears in the receive window.

Click File | Options of received-log | Show time stamp
Click File | Options of received-log | Show time stamp in received window

The time stamp includes the date, and an indication of whether the data were
Rx (received) or Tx (transmitted).

If you do not want the time stamp....
Go in the MMTTY ini file...find TIME STAMP=1
Replace the 1 by 0
TIME STAMP=0
So the time will not be there any more....

MMTTY Reflector is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MMTTY/

You can disable the time stamp in "File | Options of
Received-Log" Uncheck "Show time stamp in the RX window."
