After a few year absence from RTTY, I recently had purchase a couple of usb to
serial adaptors for FSK and Rig control. In researching which adaptors would
work, I discovered that some work for FSK RTTY and some will not work. I
decided to try the adaptor that Radio Shack sells. It works just fine here. It
is sold under the name Gigaware, 6 Ft. USB-A to Serial Cable for $35.00.
My PC is a Dell 2.8 GHz and my RTTY software is MMTTY along with N1MM for
contesting.
