The bands were noisy here when the contest started. Saturday morning was
slow to start and Europe never did come in very strong here. There were only
a few African and South American stations and no Asian stations at all, in
fact only heard one JA station in the noise and he never heard me at all. I
did almost give up a few times but decided the contest looked better then
the 'Honey do!' list.
The only down side of the test was on two occasions my calling frequency way
hi-jacked, I guess I really must fix my amplifier! On the humour side, I
was listing to a CW Op call CQ and I almost automatically hit the S&P Key -
that's when I went for another coffee.
Look for my log to be uploaded to LoTW and for those who wish paper, no
problem via the bureau.
