Actually, ten was open quite well to South America from California. I
worked Just one Argentina station but he was booming. Trouble is
everyone thinks the band is dead so no one is listening. Take a look
at the QSO totals from the recent ARRL 10 meter contest. The band is
anything but dead, it's just unoccupied.
