With hills like that, you are in a bad spot for the higher bands, 14 MHz and up.

You can have reasonable success on 7 MHz and down though, so that is where I
would concentrate. The longer the wavelength, the less effect the hills will
have. Having to go up and over the hills, a vertical with its low angle of
radiation would be less successful than a dipole or inverted vee. Being limited
to a single antenna, I believe I would try a trap dipole for your bands of
