It is possible to place well by entering a contest category that has
few other entries.
I have a "First Place SOHP South Carolina" RU certificate for 2003
when I accidentally entered as HP by not specifying LP (in which
category I was NOT first that year). There were very few entries for
SOHP from SC that year, and my low-scoring erroneous one won that category!
