I just read your email concerning the conflict between the two contests.
As a participant in both contests, I feel very strongly about your decision
not to avoid what is going to be a conflict of major portions.
Your comments in regarding your review of a non disruption comments of
naqp contesters is certainly one sided and certainly does not take into
account of the conflict to the rtty operators.
As one of the fastest growing contests , RTTY RU attracts many more
participants than NAQP CW. I get the definite feeling that you have the "we
were here first attitude, let the other guy change" rather than trying to
work out a doable solution.
Taking into the rtty /cw bandplans into account, your shortsighted decision
bodes ill for both contests. A situation that could be easily avoided IF you
had wanted to do it.
I trust that after the dust and blood settles , you will keep up and accept
the responsibility of "this was my fault and could have been invited; but
then I believe in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy".
