Sad to report that John W3KV is a silent key. For those of you who did not
know John, he was an avid RTTY Contester with scores in the top ten every year
back when there were less than 100 countries on RTTY. John was also the
longtime DX Editor for RTTY Journal, starting in the 1960s at a time when RTTY
was only Greenkeys and RTTY DX was not always so easy to find. John, under RTTY
Journal editor Dusty Dunn W8CQ, really helped get the word out about who was
active on the bands and who was going to be active shortly. Russ WA3FRP
