Fall is almost here, which means the opening of CQ WW season with RTTY on
24-25 September. This is arguably the most popular RTTY contest of the year
with over 15,000 stations participating last year and 2681 logs submitted.
There are no significant rules changes but be sure to read through them so
you are not surprised (http://www.cqwwrtty.com/rules.htm).
HOWEVER, prior to this there is the short 75 Baud contest, the second BARTG
Sprint 75
of 2011. This takes place as follows:
17:00 - 21:00z Sunday 18th September 2011 Full rules to be found at:
http://www.bartg.org.uk/documents/Contests/sprint75/BARTG%20Sprint%2075%20Rules%20September.pdf
Look forward to seeing some of you in this, a nice warm-up, being only 4 hours
long, for the CQ WW.
Please send your logs and also any supporting pictures for the BARTG Web site
to:
logs@bartg.org.uk
Regards from Roger, G3LDI BARTG Chairman.
Swardeston, Norfolk.
