It occurs to me that some of us have been RTTY contesting a long time,
perhaps TOO long.
Here's a little test you can take to see if you are one of those:
1. Your cell phone ring tone is CQ TEST in Baudot.
2. Your annual hearing test shows a significant peak at 2125 and 2295
Hz. The doctor has never seen anything like it.
3. You do your text messaging at 45 baud. Plenty fast enough, you think.
4. You know exactly what TOOAWT means.
5. You believe the greatest intellects in history are Socrates,
Einstein and Baudot.
6. You visit Makoto Mori's hometown and are appalled to find there is
no shrine. You form a committee.
7. The hyphen is your mortal enemy.
8. You petition your congressman to make USOS mandatory. For some
reason he does not return your calls.
9. You can't remember your wife's birthday but you know the Roundup is
the first full weekend in January.
and most telling of all
10. Your children are named Mark and Space.
