Consider the Ten Meter RTTY in December, the ARRL RTTY Roundup in January,
the CQ WW RTTY in September and the NA QP RTTY twice a year.. These all
use the state in the exchange. The CQ WPX RTTY in February is good too, but
the exchange is a serial number.
There seem to be a fair number of opportunities already. Propagation is a
bigger problem.

Yes there are contests to aid in WAS in cw and on phone. My
suggestion/thought was one designed for RTTY.
