REPLY:

Two things to check:  

MMTTY uses the underscore character "_" to send a blank carrier, apparently
common practice in Japan at the end of a transmission. Remove it from your
macros.

Be sure you don't have both hardware and software PTT active at the same
time. That can cause a "hang" condition when PTT releases. Don't know why,
but it happens.
