Nah....

For casual contesting, the 7200 is a good choice. I've had several of them, but did not contest with it. I did run it on RTTY and it worked great. The built in sound card is pretty cool. Radio control and a good quality "sound card" to boot.

Quite a few used ones on QTH.com for $800.00.

Look for clean 756 Pro 2 and add the INRAD roofing filter. Way better radio than IC 7200, and great for contesting and DXing.

Is anyone on the list using an Icom IC-7200 for RTTY contesting?

Gonna get a new rig here and this is one of the ones I'm looking at. The
filtering setup looks pretty good.

I know a K-3 or FT-9000 would be a lot better, but money is an object here.
