Easiest way to do this with either transistors or with opto's which are 
a much better idea is to just use a resistor substitution box. Even 
among radio's of the same brand what is required for pull ups varies.  
Found this out years ago with three FT-1000D's.  Each was different.
Easy enough with a substitution box.
