I had planned to do a serious effort but I'm off working on a response to
the ARRL request for band plan inputs. I hope to be on tonight.

The bands are indeed rather quiet for the contest, I had expected more
activity. Condx on 20 meters are not the greatest but 15 meters is doing
well into Europe, Mideast and India from the Pacific Northwest of USA. 10
Meters seems to be open as well although sigs are mostly weak.

Is it me, or are the bands quiet for the contest? There are quite a few
signals around, but not as many as you would expect.
