It is in the K3 DSP modulation process and affects all AFSK
audio sources. The internally generated RTTY (CW to RTTY) is
FSK and does not involve the generation of audio tones.

Is this filter in the audio tx path, affecting AFSK tones generated by a
computer sound card, or is it only in the internally generated RTTY
capability of the K3?

_You probably had CONFIG:AFSK TX = FIL On which inserts a narrow filter
around the selected tones__*in the K3 DSP Modulator*__. That does a very
good job of narrowing non-coherent AFSK and getting rid of any hum or
harmonics introduced in the audio sages_.

Unfortunately, that filter is unique to the K3 - none of the YaeComWood
transceivers offer such a filter - and maladjusted AFSK is worse than
the wider than optimal FSK they produce.
