[RTTY] WAE-RTTY problem with N1MM Logger+

I've got a dozen practive Qso's logged in my test log.   N1MM Logger 
V.1.0.5295.0 and when I press "Control Z"  the UTC window doesn't appear as it 
should.  
 
In CONFIG/WAE... I do not have "Control Z sends QTC  automatically" 
selected.  Though I tried selecting it to see if the QTC  Window would appear 
and 
it didn't.
 
Only one time out of about 25 tries did the "QTC Receive"  window open when 
I did the "Control Z" routine.
 
Can someone kindly tell me what I'm doing wrong?
