If you don't want to wait, move on. There are plenty of other guys to work.
And don't assume it's always some So2r thing. If you have fumbled a
callsign correction or stuck the number in the RST field and had to fix
that - it can take forever to fix (or it seems like), then you know what I'm
talking about.

I's seeing some now that will call CQ and then come back 10-15 seconds
later and answer the station who called them. They are probably working
someone on the other radio.
SO2R is a a good thing - if you do it right and don't make the other guy
