If you don't want to wait, move on. There are plenty of other guys to work. And don't assume it's always some So2r thing. If you have fumbled a callsign correction or stuck the number in the RST field and had to fix that - it can take forever to fix (or it seems like), then you know what I'm talking about.

SO2R on RTTY is being done by a lot now, but is it fair to have someone
standing by, waiting after your CQ while you are working someone else on
the other radio.

I's seeing some now that will call CQ and then come back 10-15 seconds
later and answer the station who called them.  They are probably working
someone on the other radio.

SO2R is a a good thing - if you do it right and don't make the other guy
wait on you.  73
