Greetings Diddlers!

Yep, me again. I trust all you RTTY types spent some quality time this last
weekend on the keyboard. But it wasn’t a Sprint now, was it? Perhaps you’ve
still got the Sprint itch from a couple of weeks ago?
That’s what we like to hear!. We had a good turnout last week for our little
weekly get together, with many regulars and a few fresh calls. Dick, KS0M
jumped into the mix for the first time. Dick tried the real Sprint and decided
he needed a weekly dose of the Sprint magic. Welcome! Relative newcomers N9ADG
and WT2P were in there also. WD0T was back after being on the lamb for a while
(bringing back the rare SD mult) as well as the Canadian contingent, so we had
a full house.

The time change didn’t seem to catch anyone off guard, but your final reminder:
for you in the DST zones, local time is one hour later than the usual winter
time slot. Hopefully as the days get longer we will get 15 meters back for
some extra Qs. And don’t forget: the next Real RTTY Sprint is only 25 weeks
away (approximately). Don’t get caught out of practice!

I am sorry I can’t match the “straight key night” being offered by the other
mode this week. Hand keyed RTTY is a little rough!

Here’s the usual list of times, rules and extra notes:

Friday, 25 Mar 2016, 0145Z - 0215Z (Thursday 24 Mar 2016 in NA)
-- 1845 - 1915 PDT
-- 2145 - 2215 EDT
-- (others in-between those two)
-- 160: 1805 and up
-- 80/40/20/15 +80kHz up from the band edge
-- Same band dupes ok after 1 intervening Q.
-- 1 kHz QSY rule, otherwise standard Sprint rules
-- Mults per band.
-- 100W power limit.

Please visit http://www.ncccsprint.com/rttyns.html for complete rules
and links to other info. If you find any problems with the web pages, please
let me know so we can get them fixed.

Report scores to 3830scores.com, and join us at 0300Z on 3610 kHz
for comments and questions (and dinner menus).

Diddle diddle,

Ken K6MR
