What version of WriteLog? I was using v11.23L for the contest, and I definitely 
got states reported separately from the other multipliers. The summary sheet:

         QSOs   Points  Zones   DX:     States  Multipliers     Score
80m:       0                            
40m:      21    43      8       11      8
20m:     211    553     19      57      15
15m:      73    209     10      32      2
10m:       0                            
Total:  305     805     37      100     25      162     130410

Not sure what’s different, but it is what it is.
