Did you create a cabrillo file?
Post contest...under 'file', create 'cabrillo' file. That will give you a
'notepad' document to review. Then bring up the log submission
page. It will ask you a couple of questions, then as you scroll down
there is the space to paste the notepad log. It probably takes longer
to explain.
N1MM should tell you if you missed anything such as the signal report
while you are creating your cabrillo log.

Oh, let's get a noisy generator and go out into a Nation Park and be
obnoxious running 100 watts so you won't be tied (sic) of working QRP
stations. You work more of them than you know. Within the confines of
the 3830 contest score posting site I would be #21 in HP non assisted
and #11 in LP non assisted. but I worked the CQ WW contest qrp, so I am
in another category. Have a bit of patience, and don't swathe all weak
signal stations as qrp. I believe that most of us do the best we can.
Perhaps you need a better receiver.

Yes, I am tied of working QRP stations. Happiness is a an activator station
with 100 watts and decent antenna. Many of the activators use QRP and most of
the time they are not heard. They get on, work the 10 contacts that can hear
them and move on. I have missed a number of new ones because I could not hear
them. It has been a challenge but I have relearned to listen better.

I don?t understand why anyone would try to work a RTTY contest QRP.

Well, I am surprised. It seems that the (at least vocal) majority of
the RTTY contesting community has little respect for qrp in a contest,
or perhaps it's just for any weak signal.

Any contest is a challenge... contesting... contest. Maybe the
nay-sayers need better antennas or rigs or ears or software or
fill-in-with-your-brain capabilities. I am very surprised at the NPOTA
complainers. The difference between operating portable at 5 watts and
at 100 is night-and-day logistically.

Perhaps the best thing for you folks to do is to crank it down to 5
watts and see what you can work. I promise you that you will be
surprised. And with few requests for repeats.

I agree with that "you would be surprised what you can work" statement on
QRP. Our local club worked QRP/battery one field day and as a QRO guy I was
stunned at both the rate and the relative ease in holding a frequency. Our
antennas were decent from a FD perspective but not great. A very
educational experience. Especially for a guy who managed to draw overnight
duty on 80m with storms in the distance. An opportunity, they said, for
developing my "160m ears." Uh huh...

As some of you know this is my first CQ WW RTTY contest and I have to say, IT
WAS A BLAST.

I had the best time and it was addicting. I could not stop my self. :) The
more contacts I made the more I wanted to add to the log.

I only starting using N1MM the first of the week and that was a bit of a
learning curve. But now I don?t know I could have worked this contest without.
I struggled with it a lot until I stumbled across some videos by Larry K8UT on
the N1MM web site.

Now that the contest is over I am ready to upload my N1MM logs but I am getting
all kinds of errors from the CQ upload site.
Here is a screen shot of a few of the errors.

My question is this ? does any one have a few lines of a GOOD log file so I can
see what the fields and values are suppose to look like ?
Or can I have someone look at a few lines of my log to tell me what I am doing
wrong ?

Thanks,

Lee

Since it seems that I no longer meet the criteria of the elite of the
list, I decided that it's best that I end my 14 years of RTTY contesting.

It's been a fun ride, I wish you all nothing but the best. Remember it's
just a hobby.

Agreed! Lots of mult spots that were not on the spotted frequency. Lots of
busted calls as well.

no busted calls ?!?!?!?! You must not have been seeing the K1TTT
spots.....it started out good, but by late Saturday night into Sunday, it
was dropping the first letter on many spots....

Two observations from the CQWW RTTY this past weekend:

1. The VE3NEA RTTY Skimmers have definitely come of age! I saw
very few instances of non-cq'ers being spotted, and hardly any
busted calls. Thanks to all who have been working hard on all of
this. It is a major milestone in contesting progress.

2. The old adage about JA's not showing up in contests on Sunday
afternoon (Monday morning in JA) was sure blown away in this one.
There were TONS of JA stations on Sunday afternoon, on both 15
and 20 meters.
